We favour remodelling that extends the life of existing garments. When suitable, we reuse fabric and match original thread or trim where available, while keeping the result practical and wearable.

Finish and follow-through

A final fit check is part of the collection process, and care and pressing notes are provided after the work is complete. That helps clients understand how to wear and maintain the finished piece.

Since 2022, Alteration Atelier has focused on tailoring and clothing alterations with a strong emphasis on remodelling and upcycling. The studio supports customers who want a better fit, a refreshed silhouette, or a new use for a garment they already own.

Many projects start with a consultation and a detailed look at the garment. That assessment helps define the scope, the materials required, and the limits of the existing construction before any work is approved.

Clients come to us with vintage pieces, sentimental garments, and items they want to wear again. The goal is always the same: make the piece more usable while respecting its structure and character.
