How Garment Remodelling Works
Our process begins with a garment and material assessment. We review the construction, fabric condition, seam allowances, and the fit you want to achieve before preparing a written scope.
If the piece is suitable for redesign, we move into a consultation and quote based on the approved concept. Some projects may require additional materials, which are quoted separately when needed.
From assessment to final fitting, every step is mapped before the work begins.
Alteration Atelier turns existing garments into pieces that fit better, wear longer, and feel more current.
We work on dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage-garment fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects. The result depends on the original garment, so each concept is shaped by what the fabric can realistically support.
Before collection, we complete a fit or finish review and check the garment again at handover. Care and pressing notes are shared so you know how to handle the finished piece.
